Kolac sa Datulama, Medom & Bananom / Dates, Honey & Banana Cake


Predivne iranske datule. Dugo ih nisam vidjela tako 'mesnate' i socne. Jednostavni kolac koji ne treba puno uvoda. Nisam mogla odoliti pa sam stavila vise datula nego je pisalo u receptu. Rezultiralo je jednom super ukusnom 'datulnom' bombom!
Razmisljam kako bih na nasem jeziku definirala ovu vrstu kolaca. 'Kolac' me vise asocira na nesto kremasto i fino. A ovo? mozda cajni kolac? ili? imate li priedlog? kako ih vi zovete? jako ih cesto pravim i treba mi neka slatka kategorija samo za njih..

Caj i komadic ovog divnog kolaca...ma cista uzivancija! jos da ga mogu popiti u miru, da moji pacici oko mene ne skacu :) E to ces jos malo pocekati, kaze moja mama..

Kolac sa Datulama, Medom & Bananom

  • 225 g brasna
  • 1/2 zlicice cimeta
  • 175 g maslaca
  • 100 g secera 
  • 3 zlice meda
  • 2 jaja
  • 2 banane
  • 100 g datula
  • 50 g sjeckanih oraha
Postupak:
Pomijesajte suhe sastojke u jednoj zdijelici. Jaje lagano izmutite vilicom,dodajte zgnjecene banane, te 2 zlice meda i omeksali maslac. Datule najbolje isjeckajte skarama. Dodajte u smjesu. Izmijesajte i dodajte u suhe sastojke. Sve dobro sjedinite,prebacite u kalup i po vrhu pospite orahe. Pecite cca 1 h na 160C. Ohladjeni kolac premazite sa ostatkom meda.

Dates, Honey & Banana Cake

Beautiful iranian dates. Don't remember last time when I tried ones so soft. This is a simple cake that doesn't need to much introduction. I couldn't resist so I've put more dates that it was written in a recipe. I got an super delicious dates bomb!
A piece of this cake and a cup of tea..just perfect! And only if I could enjoy it for a minute in peace, without my kids jumping around..that would be soooo nice :) My mom tells me,well for that one you will have to wait for a while more...


Dates, Honey & Banana Cake

  • 225 g self raising flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 175 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp clear honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 100 g stoned dates
  • 50 g walnuts
Directions:
Mix all the dry ingredients. In another bowl whisk eggs and softened butter, mashed bananas and 2 tbsp of honey. Chop the dates (best with kitchen scissors) and add to the banana mixture. Add to the dry ingredients and mix good. Spoon in the prepared tin and scatter the walnuts over the top. Bake for 1 hour at 160C. When cold,drizzle with remaining honey.

  1. Divan kolač. Što se tiče imena, bacila si me u rebus. Ne znam kako bih ih nazvala ali znam da ona isečena štanglica sa slike doziva mene :)
